• 5% DISCOUNT ON TUITION ANNUAL PAYEMENT.
• 10% SIBLING DISCOUNT.
• CHEQUES TO BE MADE PAYABLE TO "BABY BEARS NURSERY".
• EMERGENCY EXTRA DAY: AED 200.
• EMERGENCY SESSION IN AFTERNOON ONLY: AED 25 PER HOUR.
• PICK UP AFTER 4:30pm: AED 600.

Admission Policy

The Purpose:-

Baby Bear’s is an educational nursery with emphasis on children speaking English and providing care to children from the age group 45 days to 4 years. It welcomes applications from all social or cultural backgrounds who will benefit from an English education and will contribute fully and enthusiastically to the ethos and wider life of the nursery setting. All applications for places at the nursery will be treated fairly. We do not discriminate against any prospective student.

The Preconditions for The Offer of a Place are:-

The applicant is of the appropriate age. (4 months to 4 years).

The child has visited the nursery and met the relevant entry requirements for his/her age group.

The applicant’s learning difficulties and other special needs (if any) can, in the opinion of the Principal, be managed within the nurseries normal provision after consideration has been given to the adjustments necessary to enable access to the curriculum and whether any such adjustments are reasonable. (If not, than the nursery will not consider the child for admission).

Fee Remissions and Discounts:-

The nursery does not normally offer any discount or fee remission other than the sibling discount. Although, if a child’s siblings attend AlBasma British School a remission will be given. Any outstanding balances or previous arrears must have been paid in full before a second or subsequent family member can be admitted to the nursery. This also applies to any re-admissions.

Appeals Process:-

Parents wishing to appeal a decision should write to the Principal. The nursery will respond to any appeal within two weeks of receipt.

Re-Registration:-

The nursery reserves the right to decline re-registration requests if not done on time. The re-registration procedures and timeline will be communicated to parents annually and a re-registration fee will be payable by 2nd week of June annually. Re-registration fee will not be accepted unless all fees owing for current academic year have been paid in full or an agreement reached with the Principal. Any places not secured by re-registration fee payment will be available to students on the waiting list after 2nd week of June unless the parent/guardian has reached an agreement with the Principal.

Responsibility for Admissions:-

The Principal is responsible for admissions and the operation of this policy.
